North Street Clinic
The North street Clinic in Emsworth, West Sussex contacted Immersive Design to build a 360º degree virtual tour of their practice. They requested a project that was a little more interesting and informative than your average practice without being too complex. We added some information hotspots on the equipment and provided a simple to use tour of the spaces that clients use. Once the project was completed we dropped those same images into Google Street View and formatted the panoramas for Facebook use thereafter.
Buzby and Blue in Chichester commissioned Immersive Design to build a high-end independent virtual drop-in tour. We added music to set the scene in line with their culture and brand and carefully preserved all of the vibrant colours and internal decoration into their virtual tour.
The Buzby and Blue team have many stock images of the salon but the images could not convey the beauty and context of each of the spaces. They had also received feedback that there never seemed to be many people in the salon (from their stock images). So in addition, we shot a time-lapse movie in the salon to show how busy and energetic the salon actually is.
To take advantage of the 360º degree functions and increased visibility from Google Maps, we inserted all eleven 360º images so they may be accessed by customers who land on their Google+ page first. In addition we also formatted each 360º image for Facebook. Buzby and Blue can now write a post in Facebook and simply drop in the images, Facebook takes care of the rest!
This time-lapse video received nearly 3.5K views, 44 shares on Facebook and 73 likes.
William Blake's Cottage
We were proud to be commissioned by the Big Blake Project to produce an informative and interactive project that would preserve Blake's former residence for future generations as the future of the cottage in Felpham, West Sussex is uncertain.
The Big Blake Project required an end result that was true to Blake, his art and his visions. With permission, we were authorised to cut out various pieces from Blake's work and use them within the tour along with music from Lucien Posman to further enhance the immersive experience. The intended destination of the project will reside in the V&A museum in London whilst a "VR" station will pay homage to Blake and his cottage in nearby Felpham. Launch Tour
Bed & breakfast accommodation, Flintstone Cottages, near Goodwood, Chichester commissioned Immersive Design to produce a drop-in virtual tour for each of their five beautiful cottages.
They are a preferred choice to accommodate top brands like Bentley when the Goodwood festivals are in full swing and so we were chosen to ensure the tour was both a high-end output that accurately reflected their business, attention to detail and high standard of decor throughout each cottage. Our brief was simple...perfect is good.

On January 23rd 2017. Squatters from the Anarchist group, The Autonomous Nation of Anarchist Libertarians (Anal) took over a £15m mansion owned by a Russian billionaire in one of Britain's most exclusive streets and opened the doors up to the homeless. The Anarchist group and its residents were evicted by force on the 1st February 2017 and had come under attack during the occupation by right-wing fascists. This is a virtual tour of that building and residents. This commission was generated by a London based news and picture agency. WARNING - SOME EXPLICIT LANGUAGE

“The Yeomans group has worked with Jason at nine of our sites now with outstanding results. As a result of Jason's work we are now proud of the imagery we have of our businesses and will certainly be using his services again. "Jason assisted us with his extensive knowledge of how to position vehicles and alike to get the best possible results and to make our showrooms stand out from the other dealers.”
"Firstly, the 360 image is astonishing, and could be extremely useful. For an artist who works with installation and site-specific exhibitions, this technique is the best I've seen at communicating the work, and in a level of detail that is very difficult with film. When we need to document subsequent works of mine, we will give you a shout. I've Cc'd my representing gallery into this so they can take a look for themselves. I am sure they will find it an eye-opener."

Clementine Wilding-Taylor - Goodwood Festival Of Speed, Marketing Manager writes;
“Jason was a pleasure to work with, taking care to clearly understand the brief and provide an end piece of work that perfectly showcases our hospitality areas at the Festival of Speed, both with 360 images and still shots. His ability to adapt to sometimes challenging conditions was much appreciated and we look forward to working with him again in the future”.
An image or 'sphere' is created to an aspect ration of 2:1 which displays a 360º x 180º field of view that incorporates both the zenith and the nadir and is called a panorama. The panorama is then inserted into an interface that projects that image into a surrounding form that circles around one view point. When connecting multiple panoramas through navigation links or a menu system you then create a virtual 'tour.' The use of a single panorama or the creation of a full virtual tour allows for one to experience any given space in an immersive and interactive 3D environment.
HOW is it done?
We use a high resolution digital SLR camera on a fish eye lens to capture multiple exposures at four quadrants on a panoramic head. We then hand stitch the images to create a seamless panorama and get to work on designing the interface that reflects your branding.
Why a virtual tour?
A virtual tour puts a face to a name and provides instant access to your business from any where in the world, any time. Virtual tours engage your audience and retains the explorers attention so much longer than text and images alone can, resulting in a higher sales conversion rate, low bounces and repeat visits to your website.
A 360º x 180º view negates the requirement for multiple still images and provides an in context and transparent overview of your space - further compounding your customers confidence in your business, brand and product.
All projects work seamlessly across multiple platforms that include smart phones, tablets and desktop computers. Each project may be built with a 'VR' capability using stare technology to navigate multiple scenes.
A marketing tool
The effective use of a virtual tour to showcase a business, property, space, event or tell a story is undeniable. The application for a 360º degree project is diverse and is deployed within sectors such as business, education and training, hotel and tourism, news, the arts and property sector. In many more cases a virtual tour is a preview to an experience or a purchase, whether that's a property to buy, a restaurant to dine in, a hotel to stay, a potential school or university or some far flung holiday destination to visit. The sales executives at Goodwood for example, send out the hospitality virtual tours we produced to their clients saving time on the telephone and allows for a total understanding of what the client is buying.

There's no denying it, high-end virtual tours are technical products. From capturing, stitching and processing images to physically building a bespoke tour from the ground up and hosting the finished article, it's a steep learning curve. Our knowledge and expertise delivers a positive, pain free experience for you or your web team via our post project support, particularly when contemplating hosting solutions.
you have decided you would like a virtual tour, what now?
Our virtual tours allow for the following features; branded interface, logo, text, sound, web links, video, PDF's, floor plans, virtual reality capability and many more features. The keywords here are custom and features.
Google exposure - a potent additional marketing awesomeness. We drop the spheres from the shoot into Google Street View to take advantage of the thousands of views that this will bring to your business! - The results are tangible and exact.
It sounds expensive, is it? We charge a fixed price per panorama - it's an all inclusive price and there is no minimum order value. For larger tours, deals are there to be had and may be considered on a case by case basis.
Facebook recently introduced the capability of inserting a single and unconnected multiple 360º x 180º panoramas. Our clients tend to pin them to the top of their company page. The image will usually need to be formatted for Facebook, why not capture that audience too? You can also commission us to produce a panorama just for your Facebook page without a tour if desired.
How long will it take to produce? We can turn around projects in just a couple of days and usually within a week. It really depends on the scale of the project and the degree of interactivity required.
Will my business be disrupted? Disruption is minimal and we are only on site to capture the images for a short period of time, most of the hard work is done in the editing room. We are happy to capture the images outside of normal operating hours too.
What about the weather? Hurricanes and torrential downpours aside, the weather is not as important as you may think. We produce HD, High Dynamic Range images that produce detail in the shadows and details in bright parts of an image. Whatever the weather it will look vibrant.
